Ang Mo Kio Town - Architecture & Interior Design

Ang Mo Kio Town

The project was part of a public space revamping programme piloted by the Housing Development Board in Singapore. We helped HDB visualize the concept plans for Ang Mo Kio Town, as part of the Remaking Our Heartland initiative aimed to upgrade and rejuvenate old public housing estates. The intervention will implement new community spaces, enhanced connectivity and green areas characterised by multi-tiered planting resembling the natural structure of forests.

This is a great example of how careful planning efforts from government agencies can positively impact the urban environment, and consequently people’s wellbeing. It is never by chance, always by design.
