Founders’ Memorial - Architecture & Interior Design

Founders’ Memorial

Our proposal for the celebration of Singapore’s founding generation was designed as a series of interconnected pavilions lining the river, set amidst a lush and organic landscape.

Our goal was to establish an architectural language that embodies the humility, honesty, and resourcefulness of a courageous group of men and women who, against all odds, paved the way for what the city-state has become today.

A series of floating roofs are upheld by a multitude of slender columns, symbolizing the contributions of individuals towards a collective effort to achieve a greater good.

The building serves as a communal space where shared memories and personal aspirations for the future converge, examining the essence of civic values and engagement.
