Gulshan Bungalow - Architecture & Interior Design

Gulshan Bungalow

We were commissioned to design the interior of a large bungalow in the heart of the Gulshan district, in the capital city of Bangladesh. This residence is conceived as a peaceful retreat for an extended family and their friends, finding respite and homeliness from the busy and chaotic streets of Dhaka.

The design is inspired by a minimal language and a simple palette of colours and materials, aiming to generate a calming atmosphere in the house. Our approach was to set up a simple background to the future life that will unfold. The feel of an effortless and comfortable space accompanies the residents and their guests across the different spaces and clusters of the house.

To complement the design vision, we selected porcelain tiles and furniture from Italy, celebrating a distinct approach focused on timeless design pieces.
